Support is limited to projects<br \/>\ndealing with systematics, evolution, ecology and field-oriented behavioral studies of<br \/>\nmarine animals. Awards are not made to support research in botany and biochemistry.<br \/>\nNote:<br \/>\nOrnithology<br \/>\nproposals only accepted by<br \/>\nThe Frank M. Chapman Memorial<br \/>\nFund<br \/>\n.<br \/>\nFUNDING AND DURATION<br \/>\nThe grants made from this program are generally between $500 and $2,000. They are<br \/>\nmeant to act as seed money for new researchers. Research may be conducted at the<br \/>\nAMNH or in the field. The grant is able to be spent from July 1 of the application year<br \/>\nuntil June 30th following the application year.<br \/>\nDEADLINE<br \/>\nMarch 15, 11:59pm Eastern Time<br \/>\nINSTRUCTIONS<br \/>\nThere are two parts to the application process that must be completed by 11:59pm<br \/>\nEastern Time on the deadline listed above.
