Udall and Stewart L. The Program Associate also supports management and organization functions of the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution Program (U.S. Institute).<br \/>\n<strong>Major Duties and responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nSupport and assist Senior Program Associates and Program Managers to provide U.S. Institute services to include:<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Under the supervision of the Director for Environmental Conflict Resolution and the direction of Program Managers, independently perform general information intake; support the management of the Institute\u2019s role in the contracting process for neutral selection; and support the management of the neutral contract, often for multiple projects simultaneously.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 With assistance and direction from Senior Program Associates, and often under the direction of Program Managers, the incumbent drafts Scopes of Work (SOW) and prepares both routine and complex budgets for projects and programmatic efforts for review, editing, and approval by the Program Managers. Budgets should reflect appropriate estimation of tasks, level of effort, timelines, costs, and milestones.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Assist Senior Program Associates and Program Managers with case\/conflict assessments by arranging interviews and summarizing the assessment interviews in order to draft findings and develop draft recommendations and reports.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Under the supervision of the Foundation\u2019s Director for Environmental Conflict Resolution, Senior Program Associates, or Program Managers, plan and facilitate small group discussions and caucuses as part of U.S. Institute projects.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Summarize meeting discussions succinctly and accurately for Program Manager\u2019s review and provide such summaries in a timely manner as directed after meetings.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Manage logistics for large complex conflict resolution projects.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Accurately implement federal and Foundation policies related to records management, personnel policies, data base management, and project administration requirements.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Draft communications to be transmitted to contractors and project participants about meeting schedules, results, and follow up steps on a regular basis.<br \/>\nIn addition, support and assist the Udall Foundation\u2019s U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution program to include:<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Provide marketing support by developing and archiving PowerPoint presentations, assisting with the scheduling of marketing presentations, managing marketing materials through archiving and storing the materials, and attending conferences and meetings to staff Institute outreach activities<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Other duties as assigned.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 The position may involve some travel (up to 25% on average).<br \/>\n<strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>1. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nAt least a Bachelor\u2019s degree and 2 years\u2019 experience in environmental, natural resources, or land use law, science, policy, or planning related to complex public policy issues, including at least one (1) year of experience comparable to professional standards of a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and demonstrable experience assisting with environmental project management, public policy negotiations, collaborative processes, or consensus seeking processes.<br \/>\nAt least one (1) year of team leadership and facilitation experience<br \/>\nDemonstrated experience with organizational, administrative, financial, or project coordination.<br \/>\nDemonstrated flexibility and ability to work independently, while also capable of working collaboratively with a team to develop and carry out an overall program.<br \/>\nExcellent collaborative interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nDemonstrated ability to ensure administrative tasks and processes are completed in a timely manner.<br \/>\nProficiency with databases, spreadsheets, research tools, online collaboration tools, and social media.<br \/>\nExperience with electronic tools for developing and tracking project budgets<br \/>\nDemonstrated excellence in both oral and written communication.
