We conserve forests and promote sustainable forest management to permanently protect the character of New England and the region\u2019s primary source of clean water and air, native wildlife habitat, diverse recreational opportunities, and rural economic opportunity. In the last 15 years, NEFF has protected one<br \/>\nof every three acres of land conserved in New England. NEFF currently manages 143 feeowned Community Forests and more than a million acres protected by conservation easements. The organization is in a period of growth, having increased staffing by a third within the last couple of years<\/p>\n<h3>About the Position<\/h3>\n<p>New England Forestry Foundation is seeking applications for a full-time Easement\u00a0Stewardship Manager. The Easement Stewardship Manager will be responsible for overseeing NEFF\u2019s portfolio of 145 conservation easements across New England. The Easement Stewardship Manager will coordinate with NEFF\u2019s full-time\u00a0Stewardship Associate to conduct annual site visits, complete annual monitoring\u00a0reports, update files and recordkeeping, and communicate with easement landowners.
