In collaboration with Multilingual Mainers, the initiative translates and creates multilingual recordings of picture books. Led by multilingual students and faculty, this effort highlights language diversity, promotes language access, and builds a sense of belonging for multilingual students in the Brunswick community and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>The oral recordings were created by students in Dr. Puma Ninacuri\u2019s course, \u201cSpanish in the Latinx and Diaspora Communities in the US.\u201d The following students worked to translate various children\u2019s books: Grace Travis, Shandiin Largo, Rachea McDonald, Julia Finke, Owen Weller, Maya Benitez Longo, Isabella Savramis, Diego DeSousa, Kate Mellman, Camilla Rawlings, Joseph Gonzalez, Javier Gallegos, Charles Wang, Michelle Morales, Mathew Hernandez, and Cameron Shelly. Additionally, the following students are course assistants that helped with logistics and mentorship: Michelle Padilla Soto,\u00a0Alexandra Camargo, and Adri\u00e1n Salcedo Silva.
