In collaboration with Multilingual Mainers, the initiative translates and creates multilingual recordings of picture books. Led by multilingual students and faculty, this effort highlights language diversity, promotes language access, and builds a sense of belonging for multilingual students in the Brunswick community and beyond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The oral recordings were created by students in Dr. Puma Ninacuri\u2019s course, \u201cIntermediate Spanish I\u201d. The following students worked to translate various\u00a0children\u2019s books: Candice Ballarin, Camille Baratier, Justas Bardauskas, Sophie Brett, Court Callis, Finn Furtney, Dylan Herring, Elinor Hershkowitz, Sharifa Hunarwar, Neissa Jean, Sarah Kalonji, Abderrahim Kandoussi, Allison Korn, Olivia Mann, Elias McEaneney, Ray Mitchell, Cordell Perne, Masha Pesniak, Liam Rodriguez, Doreen Wanjiru, Dakota Wilson, and Abigail Woldgebriel.
