A partnership between Multilingual Mainers and ESOL teachers, we have started an initiative to expand multilingual audio recordings of the core read-aloud books in the PreK-2 curriculum, Together for ME, designed by the Maine DOE in collaboration with Boston Public Schools. With the help of multilingual volunteers, including Bowdoin students, these recordings will be available open access. Languages in this initiative include Arabic, Chinese, French, Gujarati, Italian, Lingala, Pashto, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Somali, Swahili, Tagalog, Thai, Tibetan, Urdu, Vietnamese.
