Maine Land Conservation Paid Summer Internship

These paid internships will provide seven Maine college students an opportunity to work with Maine land trusts to gain experience in land stewardship and conservation. The successful candidates will learn about land conservation and practical skills involved in caring for land. The program begins on June 4th and ends on August 17th. The successful candidates will be self-motivated and willing to work independently or as part of a team.

Maine Coast Heritage Trust is a non-profit organization that conserves and stewards Maine’s coastal lands and islands for their renowned scenic beauty, ecological values, outdoor recreation opportunities and contribution to community well-being.  MCHT provides statewide conservation leadership through its work with land trusts, coastal communities and other partners.

Wage: $11 per hour, 35 to 40 hours per week, 11 weeks, up to $5000
