Off campus Event: New England Grassroots Environment Fund- A discussion about climate change solutions in Maine, Sat. Feb 24, Bangor Maine

The New England Grassroots Environment Fund and the Maine Environmental Education Association along with a few other partners are hosting an interactive discussion to engage a broad range of perspectives in generating creative climate change solutions that address local social and environmental issues in Maine. The Roundtable will bring together individuals and organizations from across Maine who are working in a variety of fields at the local level. We hope to create space for new connections and ideas to emerge and to share opportunities for funding projects. At the Roundtable you will also learn how to both apply for and participate in decision-making around small grants for grassroots efforts through the New England Grassroots Environment Fund’s Seed, Grow, and Young Adult Leaders programs as part of a collaborative funding project of several Maine foundations.

This funder is an AWESOME resource for students with sustainability action ideas to get some seed money to support their projects and the conversations are going to be really exciting and interactive.  It would be AWESOME to have some Bowdoin students take part in the conversation.  Can you please share the word?
