This is a FREE event and there is space for folks who are interested in environmental education issues.  Dr. Tony Cortese is the keynote speaker and will be helping to facilitate some of the sessions. Tony was a founder of Second Nature, the organizer of the Presidents’ Climate Commitment and the current President of the Crane Institute for Sustainability.

We will kick off the day with a keynote presentation from Dr. Cortese.  He will discuss how higher education institutions can address sustainability challenges and cultivate change on their campuses and their local communities.

This event will also include interactive sessions on environmental service-learning, collaborating across disciplines, building community inside and outside the classroom and the role of education in climate change & water quality issues.
