The Harpswell Community Garden, which is located at Mitchell Field, is a Town of Harpswell project and is supported by the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust and other groups.
They are seeking a college student or Harspwell resident to supervise two high school interns working with the “Gardening for the Common Good” project, growing food for the Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention Project. The stipend for this position is $12/hour for a maximum of 100 hours between May 1 and Oct. 15. Start and end dates are flexible.
They are also seeking a high school-age intern to participate in the “Gardening for the Common Good” project. Interns are expected to put in 100 hours of service between May 1 and October 15. There is a $500 stipend. Click here for more information.
