Enjoy some political cartoons, and an informal discussion about issues, Americans’ ideas about government, and about the imagery and iconography that Americans have used to represent power.

Professor Sarah Elkind teaches environmental, urban, political, and public history at San Diego State University. Her most recent book focuses on how local politics shaped federal policy in the Los Angeles area from 1920-1950.

There will be a sign-in sheet at the checker’s station for students without board, and for faculty and staff.
