They shall support coordination of NCEA scientific assessment work and scientific support to EPA programs and regions. Introduction: Reporting to the Udall Foundation’s Director of Environmental Conflict Resolution, the Program Associate supports U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution projects by working with Senior Program Associates, Program Managers, and Senior Program Managers on case management, assessment, contracting, client and stakeholder communications, meeting planning, and logistics. The Program Associate also supports management and organization functions of the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution Program (U.S. Institute).
Major Duties and responsibilities:
Support and assist Senior Program Associates and Program Managers to provide U.S. Institute services to include:
 Under the supervision of the Director for Environmental Conflict Resolution and the direction of Program Managers, independently perform general information intake; support the management of the Institute’s role in the contracting process for neutral selection; and support the management of the neutral contract, often for multiple projects simultaneously.
 With assistance and direction from Senior Program Associates, and often under the direction of Program Managers, the incumbent drafts Scopes of Work (SOW) and prepares both routine and complex budgets for projects and programmatic efforts for review, editing, and approval by the Program Managers. Budgets should reflect appropriate estimation of tasks, level of effort, timelines, costs, and milestones.
 Assist Senior Program Associates and Program Managers with case/conflict assessments by arranging interviews and summarizing the assessment interviews in order to draft findings and develop draft recommendations and reports.
 Under the supervision of the Foundation’s Director for Environmental Conflict Resolution, Senior Program Associates, or Program Managers, plan and facilitate small group discussions and caucuses as part of U.S. Institute projects.
 Summarize meeting discussions succinctly and accurately for Program Manager’s review and provide such summaries in a timely manner as directed after meetings.
 Manage logistics for large complex conflict resolution projects.
 Accurately implement federal and Foundation policies related to records management, personnel policies, data base management, and project administration requirements.
 Draft communications to be transmitted to contractors and project participants about meeting schedules, results, and follow up steps on a regular basis.
In addition, support and assist the Udall Foundation’s U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution program to include:
 Provide marketing support by developing and archiving PowerPoint presentations, assisting with the scheduling of marketing presentations, managing marketing materials through archiving and storing the materials, and attending conferences and meetings to staff Institute outreach activities
 Other duties as assigned.
 The position may involve some travel (up to 25% on average).
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
At least a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in environmental, natural resources, or land use law, science, policy, or planning related to complex public policy issues, including at least one (1) year of experience comparable to professional standards of a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and demonstrable experience assisting with environmental project management, public policy negotiations, collaborative processes, or consensus seeking processes.
At least one (1) year of team leadership and facilitation experience
Demonstrated experience with organizational, administrative, financial, or project coordination.
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work independently, while also capable of working collaboratively with a team to develop and carry out an overall program.
Excellent collaborative interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to ensure administrative tasks and processes are completed in a timely manner.
Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, research tools, online collaboration tools, and social media.
Experience with electronic tools for developing and tracking project budgets
Demonstrated excellence in both oral and written communication. (A writing sample is required.)

The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is seeking to fill a Wildlife Biologist vacancy in Augusta.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a supervisory Wildlife Biologist position, which is assigned full time to the Department of Agriculture Conservation and Forestry/Bureau of Parks and Lands (BPL).

The position is responsible for ensuring wildlife habitat objectives are incorporated and achieved in the Bureau’s management of public lands, including acquiring data, providing information and writing the fishery and wildlife component of management plans. The position acts as a liaison between Bureau of Parks and Lands and other Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Biologists on habitat management plans.

Responsibilities of the position are statewide and include the development of policies and operational standards for wildlife resource values as it relates to the Bureau’s multiple use management objectives, develop and oversee implementation of projects for the enhancement of fishery and wildlife habitats and work cooperatively with BPL to minimize conflicts between timber and wildlife management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelors Degree in Biology, Wildlife Management, or related field -AND- three (3) years experience in laboratory or field research of fish and wildlife including experience in a supervisory capacity. Directly related work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Bowdoin College, located along the coast in Brunswick, Maine, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Biology and Director, Bowdoin Scientific Station on Kent Island beginning Fall 2017. The successful candidate will play a leadership role in fostering a thriving intellectual environment at Bowdoin College’s Scientific Station on Kent Island (https://www.bowdoin.edu/kent-island/). The station, located on Kent Island, New Brunswick, Canada (44 35’N, 66 45’W), was established in 1935 as a research facility and sanctuary for nesting seabirds, and has been a member of the Organization of Biological Field Stations since 1988.
